Luis Daniel Blandon is an award-winning Cuban-American filmmaker based in Miami, Florida. He studied at the Prague Film School (PFS) in the Czech Republic and took part in the 21st edition of Cinemadamare. Despite his relatively short time in the industry, he has played a key role in the creation of over 30 short films and feature productions.

In 2024, Luis earned a B.A.S. in Film, Television & Digital Production from Miami Dade College. Before pursuing filmmaking full-time, he found success as a software developer but ultimately followed his passion for storytelling. His award-winning short film Last Night, shot in Italy, is currently making its way through the festival circuit and is set for wide release in 2026.
